Five reasons to book an inspection
Reports are issued promptly and written in plain language, with any C1 or C2 findings explained rather than just coded. If remedial work is needed we can carry it out.
You let a property in England
An EICR every five years is the law, not best practice. Letting without a valid one risks a fine of up to £30,000 per property, and your insurer may decline a claim.
You are buying a property
A homebuyer survey will say "electrical installation not inspected, seek specialist advice". This is that advice, and it is far cheaper before you exchange than after.
The property is over ten years old and has not been checked
Cable, boards and connections all age. Ten years is the point at which an owner-occupied property is worth a look even with nothing obviously wrong.
