why choose us

WHY T L ELECTRICAL HD LTD

Kitchen rewires need to be coordinated carefully with the kitchen fitting programme. T L Electrical HD Ltd works with your kitchen fitter's timeline, completing first fix before units go in and returning for second fix and testing once the kitchen is in place — making the process smooth and stress-free.

Every connection is planned around the position of your appliances, sockets, lighting and other fittings, helping avoid costly changes once the kitchen is finished. All work is tested and certified on completion, giving you confidence that everything has been installed safely and correctly.

WHAT WE OFFER

Complete Kitchen Rewire Solutions

From new circuits and sockets to lighting and appliance connections, we provide complete electrical solutions designed around your kitchen layout, appliances and fitting requirements.

01

Cooker Circuit

A dedicated circuit on its own breaker, sized for the appliance going in. Sharing a cooker with the ring main is what causes tripping and overheated connections.

02

Worktop Sockets

Doubles set at worktop height and positioned around your actual layout, so nothing ends up behind a fixed appliance or hidden by a splashback.

03

Appliance Circuits

Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and oven supplies, each on a switched fused connection you can reach without pulling the machine out.

04

Under-Cabinet LED

Strip lighting run and driver sited where it can be serviced, with dimming matched to the fittings so nothing flickers or buzzes.

05

Extractor Fan Wiring

A fused supply with a local isolator, so the fan can be worked on or replaced later without killing the rest of the kitchen.

06

Island Supply

The feed run before the floor goes down. Retro-fitting an island supply afterwards means lifting new flooring, so this one is worth deciding early.

07

Consumer Unit Upgrade

Where the existing board cannot take the new circuits, or has no RCD protection. Quoted up front, not discovered halfway through the fit.

08

Testing & Certification

Second fix once the units are in, every circuit tested, certificates issued and notifiable work registered with building control.

Signs you need this service

Four things worth sorting first

Kitchen electrics have to be coordinated with the kitchen fitting programme. If any of these apply, it is worth getting the wiring looked at before the units are ordered.

01

You are having a new kitchen installed

First fix has to happen before the units go in. Once the carcasses are fixed and the worktop is on, moving a socket means taking things back apart.

02

Sockets are insufficient or badly positioned

If the kettle and toaster are sharing an extension lead on the worktop, that is a wiring problem rather than a habit — and extension leads near a sink are the worst version of it.

03

No dedicated cooker circuit

An oven or hob drawing from the ring main alongside everything else is why the breaker trips when the kettle goes on. It needs its own circuit.

04

Old wiring that needs updating before the fit

The cheapest moment to sort it is while the old kitchen is out and the walls are accessible. Doing it later means chasing into finished tiling.
